Counseling for you.

Feeling stuck, alone, and unsure of how to move forward?

My mission is to come alongside you with compassion and curiosity, celebrating the beauty of the unique story that makes you you. Through the relationship that we build, we will work to move out of the feeling of “stuckness” as you step more fully into the life that you want to be living.

About Me

  • My way of working as a therapist is centered on the notion that change occurs through relationship, both with ourselves and with other people. Therapy is a collaborative journey toward deeper self understanding, self empowerment and ultimately, healing. My role as your therapist is to come alongside you and provide a safe, non-judgmental and encouraging space to explore what makes you you. My hope is that therapy will be a safe space for you to explore areas in your life where you may be feeling stuck or that you are interested in exploring further.

I work primarily with women who are struggling with prenatal/postpartum anxiety and depression, as well as women looking to grow in areas around body image, anxiety, and food and exercise related concerns.

  • I graduated with a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University and obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Whitworth University.

My experience includes wilderness adventure programs, recovery-centered high school programs, and several years experience working in a university student counseling center. All of my past experiences have inspired my current therapeutic focuses which include being trauma informed, non-shaming and attentive to the body along with the mind.

  • I moved to Missoula in 2020 and quickly fell in love with the Montana landscape and the Missoula community. In my free time, I enjoy trail running and mountain biking with my pup, Jeb, as well as practicing yoga, playing piano, eating delicious food and reading a good novel.

As a therapist I am intentional and curious while also relaxed and easygoing. I believe the therapeutic relationship is truly the most powerful catalyst for change, which is why I am committed to showing up as myself - a real, imperfect person - during our time together.

I encourage you to reach out to find out whether we will be a good fit, and I look forward to meeting you!

“Our body is a source of knowing. Through our body, we can know the world, what it is to feel, to be a self, which ultimately contributes to and is the source of our aliveness.”

— Hillary McBride
